White turrets of the château above the lake, Mont Blanc opposite, Roman columns on the esplanade: in a few hundred metres, Nyon holds a picture-postcard Lake Geneva setting. The municipality had 24,139 inhabitants on 31 December 2025 according to the Town, making it the fourth-largest town in the canton of Vaud, and its six festivals draw nearly 325,000 people a year. For the shops, restaurants and businesses of Nyon and La Côte, we arrive from Paris with an approved script, and we leave with UGC, TikToks and ads ready to go.
See our workA Small Town of 141 Nationalities
The key figures published by the Town paint a young, cosmopolitan municipality: 24,139 inhabitants at the end of 2025, 16.8% of them under 16, and 141 nationalities. The French are the largest foreign community, ahead of the Portuguese and the Italians. The Town estimates the working population at 13,400 people, and 22,800 travellers pass through the station every weekday, on the line between Geneva and Lausanne. For a brand, that means two audiences to reach: the people of Nyon themselves, often families, and the commuters who cross the town every morning. An ad that shows the station, the commute or the lunch break speaks to the latter; a video shot by the lake or in the old town speaks to the former. We often prepare both, plus English subtitles for La Côte's international clientele.
A Fabric of Shops and Headquarters on the Lake Geneva Arc
The Town presents itself as an ideally located place on the Lake Geneva arc for businesses, and its Only Nyon voucher programme brings together more than 200 partner shops. Nyon is also home to the UEFA headquarters, which gives the town an international profile well beyond its size. The rest of the economic fabric is made up of service SMEs, firms, agencies and independent shops in the centre. For a company recruiting international profiles, an employer-brand video shot at the office and then on the quays, with the lake and the Alps behind, shows in thirty seconds the quality of life that no job ad can describe. For a shop in the Only Nyon scheme, a series of short Reels featuring the shopkeeper's face builds loyalty among a local clientele that likes to buy close to home.
Quais de Rive, Terraces and Produce from La Côte
The lakeside, between the Grande Jetée and the landing stage, is lively in every season according to the Town, with pedalo and boat hire in summer, and the Trois-Jetées municipal beach open to all year round. It is the natural backdrop for the restaurants and bars of the Rive district: a terrace facing Mont Blanc, a fillet of perch, a glass of La Côte chasselas. Filmed at the end of the day, this shot makes a Reel that visitors share. The Town even has its own official beer, the 1260, a sign that local products are part of Nyon's identity. For a boutique, a wine shop or a delicatessen, a UGC video in which a creator strolls along the quays and then walks up to the old town to push open the shop door tells a journey that residents will recognise at once.
Château, Noviodunum and the Festival Season
Nyon stands on the remains of Noviodunum, one of the most important Roman towns in Switzerland, founded in the lifetime of Julius Caesar, and the Roman Museum occupies the foundations of the ancient basilica. The château, on its promontory, has housed a museum since 1888 according to the Town. These places provide very different backdrops, from ancient stone to white façades. The calendar is dominated by six festivals, from February to August: Les Hivernales, Visions du Réel for documentaries, Caribana, Rive Jazzy, Paléo and far°. The CGN also sets off its Belle Époque boats from the Rive landing stage, a rare setting for a travel or fashion brand. During Paléo or Caribana, the town fills up: perfect for atmosphere content, much less so for a calm product shot on the quays.
Paris, Geneva, Nyon: a Shoot Prepared in Advance
We come to Nyon by train via Geneva, the town being on the Lake Geneva line, with light equipment that crosses the border without difficulty. The shoot is decided remotely: script, hooks in French and in English if needed, creator casting, hour-by-hour schedule, permits from the Town when the crew sets up on the public highway or the quays. On the day, we start early by the lake, when the light settles on the Alps and the quays are calm. Late morning is for interiors and interviews, the afternoon for the old town and the château, the end of the day for the terraces and a UGC creator's to-camera shots. Sorting the rushes begins as soon as we are back in Paris, with each video adapted for TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Why creative ads deliver better results
An ad that looks like an ad gets skipped in a second. A creative ad works on the hook, the message and the format so it is watched to the end, then tested and adapted for as long as it converts.
