Video agency in Nantes: UGC, TikTok and creative ads

A Nantes local recognises the elephant of the Machines de l'île or the glass roof of the passage Pommeraye in a second, and that reflex is what your ads can tap into. According to Insee, the city had 327,734 inhabitants in 2023, with a density of more than 5,000 people per km². For each project, our Paris team makes the journey and films Meta and TikTok creative ads, UGC videos and Reels on location, with your teams, your products and settings the local audience identifies without a caption.

The 2023 census gives Nantes 327,734 inhabitants and Nantes Métropole 689,456. The city offers 215,178 jobs that same year, while the whole metropolitan area totals 400,871: a good share of the people walking past your shop window sleep in Rezé, Orvault or Saint-Herblain. Another figure that changes a script: of 175,195 Nantes households, only 36.4% own their main residence, against 49.2% across the metropolitan area (Insee, 2023). A bank, a kitchen retailer or a removals company therefore doesn't speak in the same way to a student renting in the centre and to a family settled in the first ring of suburbs. We often shoot two variants of the same ad, with different hooks and settings, and then delivery on Meta tells us which deserves the budget. The city also had 11,718 businesses at the end of 2024, so many potential advertisers competing for the same attention.
Composites, digital and health: the trades to show
Nantes Métropole Entreprises describes an industrial identity driven by Airbus and Naval Group, surrounded by companies specialising in composite materials, robotics, mechatronics, welding or artificial intelligence. Its key figures list 25,000 aerospace-related jobs in Pays de la Loire, including 5,000 at Airbus, 30,000 jobs directly related to health and 30,500 in digital, spread across nearly 3,000 companies in the metropolitan area. All these companies recruit technicians, welders and developers from the same pool. An operator who shows a composite part coming out of the mould and explains their technique in twenty seconds is more convincing than a text ad. For the start-ups of this French Tech capital, we tend to film product demonstrations, B2B customer testimonials and fundraising videos, to be timed ahead of Nantes Digital Week, scheduled for 17 to 27 September 2026.
Talensac in the morning, beurre blanc at lunchtime
According to the City, Talensac market brings together around 150 traders, every morning except Monday, from 8am to 1pm on weekdays. A restaurateur can be filmed there choosing their pike-perch, and the same fish then arrives with beurre blanc on the table at lunch service: a complete Reel in one morning. The multi-storey galleries of the passage Pommeraye suit fashion, jewellery or home decor brands that want a typically Nantes opening shot. Tourist flow can be measured at the château des ducs de Bretagne, which received some 1.35 million visitors in 2025, including 385,000 in its museum spaces, according to the Métropole. Hotels, muscadet cellars and biscuit shops benefit from UGC videos in which a visitor tells the story of their day, from the ramparts to the Lieu Unique housed in the former LU factory.
From La Folle Journée to the Voyage en hiver
On the île de Nantes, the nefs of the former shipyards and the Grand Éléphant offer wide shots that cannot be mistaken for anywhere else. The banks of the Erdre are better suited to calm scenes: terrace, jogging, drinks by the water. The calendar then dictates the mood. According to Le Voyage à Nantes, the summer Voyage takes over the city from 4 July to 6 September 2026, the Utopiales run from 29 October to 1 November and the Voyage en hiver opens on 21 November 2026 and lasts until 3 January 2027. La Folle Journée will return from 27 to 31 January 2027. The Rendez-vous de l'Erdre, free and held every late summer since 1987, celebrate their 40th edition from 24 to 30 August 2026 with jazz and vintage boats. These weeks guarantee passers-by in frame; for a clear product shot, we prefer a Tuesday morning.
Prepare remotely, film in one day
Montparnasse and Nantes are linked by direct TGV trains: the equipment (cameras, microphones, compact lighting) travels in our luggage and saves us from using a van. The work begins well before that, from our offices at 40 rue du Colisée: script approved over video call, creator casting, list of locations, permit applications when the scene takes place on the public highway or at a site such as the château. On site, a realistic schedule opens at Talensac before the 1pm closing, moves on to lunch service or a sequence at your premises, keeps the afternoon for interviews and UGC scenes, then finishes on the quais de Loire as the light drops. Editing takes place in Paris. Esekai, founded by Tony Lo and with more than 350 brands behind it, then delivers several hooks and formats for TikTok, Reels and Meta Ads from that single day.
Why creative ads deliver better results
An ad that looks like an ad gets skipped in a second. A creative ad works on the hook, the message and the format so it is watched to the end, then tested and adapted for as long as it converts.
