Scenes from Cyrano de Bergerac were shot in the lanes of the Cité Plantagenêt, and every June the whole world watches Le Mans for twenty-four hours. Between these two images lies a city of 146,249 residents in 2023 according to Insee, with its insurers, shops and students. Our Paris team makes the round trip in a day to shoot social ads, UGC videos and TikTok formats tailored to people from the Sarthe as well as to motorsport fans.
See our work24 Hours circuit, M24 and the 94th edition
Born in 1923, the 24 Hours circuit measures 13.629 kilometres today, against 17.262 originally, and cars approach 400 km/h on the Hunaudières straight, the tourist office reminds us. The 94th edition of the race was run from 10 to 14 June 2026, and the circuit was voted the French public's favourite monument in 2024. Since spring 2026, the M24, the motorsport museum, has displayed Formula 1, endurance and rally cars across 8,600 m² at the gates of the circuit. For an equipment maker, a dealership or a lifestyle brand, these places have a rare evocative power. A creative ad that opens on a kerb shot or an engine sound instantly grabs a passionate audience. Other events, including Le Mans Classic, complete the circuit's calendar.
Insurance, services and 86,245 jobs
Le Mans provides work well beyond its boundaries: Insee counts 86,245 jobs there in 2023 for 56,266 employed residents. Insee classes 746 of the 11,742 active establishments in 2024 under financial and insurance activities, or 6.4%, a high share that reflects the historic presence of mutual insurers and insurance companies in the city. Trade, transport, accommodation and food service total 3,010. For these service employers, video is used to recruit advisers, administrators and technical profiles: an employee recounting a day, a manager introducing their team, shot in the real premises and published on LinkedIn then adapted into Reels. 15-24 year-olds make up 15.5% of residents in 2023, a pool of apprentices and recent graduates that is easier to reach on TikTok than through a job ad.
Twenty hectares of Cité Plantagenêt
The Cité Plantagenêt spreads over twenty hectares of cobbled lanes, half-timbered houses and Renaissance mansions, ringed by a very well-preserved Roman wall. Saint-Julien Cathedral, 134 metres long and covering 5,000 m², blends Romanesque and Gothic art; it was here that Geoffrey Plantagenet married Empress Matilda on 17 June 1128, before the birth in 1133 of their son Henry, future King of England. For a brand, these settings tell the story effortlessly. A restaurant in the Cité can open its Reel on a lane lit by evening lanterns, a craftsperson can film their workshop behind a half-timbered façade, a UGC creator can present a product while walking up towards the cathedral. As on any inhabited heritage site, we shoot early and with a small crew, with the necessary permits.
Jacobins, rillettes and town-centre shops
At the foot of the cathedral, the Place des Jacobins hosts the markets, and its flea-market section on Friday and Sunday mornings appears in national calendars, according to the tourist office. It is a natural setting for a decor or second-hand brand that wants to film thrifting as UGC. Insee's amenities database lists in 2025 in the municipality 109 bakery-pâtisseries and 210 hairdressing salons, a sign of dense and competitive neighbourhood retail. For a pork butcher, Le Mans rillettes are an obvious video subject, from cauldron to tartine; for a wine merchant, the pairing with a wine from the neighbouring Loire can be told in thirty seconds. With 26 hotels and 1,587 rooms listed at the start of 2026, capacity remains limited: in June they are full, and a video published early in the year captures bookings from racing fans.
Organising the shoot from Le Mans station
The TGV links Paris to Le Mans in just over an hour, which makes it possible to shoot a full day without an overnight stay. The station is linked to the centre by tram, and the Cité can be covered on foot with light equipment. Before coming, we validate the script, hooks, shot list and casting of Sarthe creators remotely. For shoots near the circuit, we plan around race and practice dates, when access and accommodation are saturated, unless the event is precisely the subject. A typical day starts in the lanes of the Cité at sunrise, spends midday at your premises, camera on the object and then on the people who make or sell it, and ends at the Jacobins or on the banks of the Sarthe. Editing is done in Paris, with several hooks per video for your ad tests.
Why creative ads deliver better results
An ad that looks like an ad gets skipped in a second. A creative ad works on the hook, the message and the format so it is watched to the end, then tested and adapted for as long as it converts.
