Shooting, editing and publishing for brands in Limoges

Limoges has 129,937 residents in 2023 according to Insee, and 84,289 jobs are recorded in the commune the same year: a town where people work as much as they live. Limoges brands, like the national chains that want to speak to this town, can have us come from Paris to film their TikTok and Meta creative ads, their UGC videos and their Reels. Porcelain, electronics, offal cuisine, an Art Deco station: here, every sector has its own setting, and we know where to put the camera.

129,937 residents and an already settled customer base

Insee's territory comparison tool gives the measure of the town in 2023: 129,937 residents, 73,439 households and a density of 1,665.2 inhabitants per km². Between 2017 and 2023, the population fell by 0.3% a year on average, as departures outnumber arrivals while natural change remains slightly positive. A brand does not win here thanks to newcomers: it has to convince a settled customer base. The 84,289 jobs recorded in the commune in 2023 add a second audience, the workers who spend their days there. In practice, we often adapt a single shoot into two families of creatives: quick hooks, shot to camera by a student creator, for TikTok campaigns targeted at the urban area, and calmer, subtitled formats for Facebook and Instagram. On an audience of this size, repetition tires people quickly: five short variants are better than a single long ad.

Legrand, porcelain and ESTER Technopole in front of the camera

Limoges Métropole cites among the big names based in the town Legrand, world leader in products and systems for electrical building installations, the Bernardaud and Haviland porcelains, Allia ceramics, Weston shoes and Renault Trucks. The authority also structures six sectors of excellence: electronics and photonics (grouped on the ESTER Technopole site), ceramics and surface treatments, digital and cybersecurity, water and environment, agriculture and food, and health. For these companies, video is first and foremost used for recruitment. A technician showing their workstation on a firing line, an engineer explaining in forty seconds the test bench she runs: this type of employer brand format reaches profiles that conventional job ads miss. In B2B, we also film product demonstrations for LinkedIn and Meta, in tight shots of the enamel, the cutting or the assembly, where the know-how shows.

From Les Halles centrales to place Saint-Michel, Limousin cuisine as Reels

Limoges gastronomy is like no other, and that is a boon for restaurateurs on Instagram. The tourist office highlights girot, chestnut black pudding, galétous, clafoutis and flognarde. Les Halles centrales, built between 1885 and 1889 under a metal framework, house two restaurants where people have lunch elbow to elbow at long communal tables: an overhead wide shot of these tables, then a close-up on the plate, and the Reel fits in fifteen seconds. On the tourism side, Limoges Métropole indicates that in 2026, 65 to 70% of visitors received at the tourist office spent between half a day and two days on site. These short stays call for practical UGC videos, of the "my afternoon in Limoges" kind, and subtitles in English or Spanish in summer, since British visitors in July and Spanish visitors in August were the most numerous foreign visitors in 2026.

Bénédictins station, rue de la Boucherie and the shooting calendar

Limoges has 14 Michelin-starred entries in the Guide Michelin Voyage & Cultures 2026, including the town itself and Bénédictins station (two stars each), the Musée national Adrien Dubouché (three stars), the Musée des Beaux-Arts (two stars) and the Pavillon du Verdurier (one star). Voted the most beautiful station in France in 2022, the station offers the town's most recognisable opening shot, subject to the agreement of SNCF Gares & Connexions for the interior. Every third Friday in October, the Frairie des Petits Ventres, created in 1973, draws nearly 40,000 people to rue de la Boucherie, place Saint-Aurélien and place de la Barreyrette. According to Limoges Métropole, summer 2026 saw 52 days of heatwave, so we film exteriors early in the morning and keep the afternoon for interiors. The underground passages are part of this, and their tours alone accounted for 65% of guided-tour attendance between 1 June and 15 August 2026.

A day's shoot in Limoges with the team from Paris

The team arrives from Paris, by train from Gare d'Austerlitz to Bénédictins or by car on the A20 when the lighting equipment requires it. Everything is prepared beforehand, remotely: brief, hook script, scouting from the photos you send us, casting of UGC creators and permission requests if we film in a public place or a station. On the day, a typical day starts in a workshop or factory, when the skylight is at its softest, continues at lunchtime in a restaurant during service, then in a shop or in the pedestrian streets around cour du Temple. The end of the afternoon is used for façade shots and to-camera takes. We do not use drones: wide views are shot on the ground, on a stabiliser. In the evening, the team leaves with enough to edit several variations of each video, ready for TikTok, Reels and Meta.

Why?

Why creative ads deliver better results

An ad that looks like an ad gets skipped in a second. A creative ad works on the hook, the message and the format so it is watched to the end, then tested and adapted for as long as it converts.

Yes, and it is the best food setting of the year, but it needs preparing. With nearly 40,000 visitors on rue de la Boucherie, wide shots are saturated from midday. We film the stalls and the preparation of offal products in the morning, then tight takes and tasting reactions. A commercial shoot in public space requires permission from the city, and we take care over passers-by's image rights.

We visit the site by video call or through photos before coming, to identify confidential areas, filmable workstations and safety instructions. On site, the team wears the protective equipment requested and adapts to production rhythms: we film a kiln or a glazing line without stopping it. Employee testimonials are shot next to the workstation, so that the job remains visible on screen.

Both are possible. For a brand targeting the people of Limoges, we prefer creators from the region, credible in front of Les Halles or along the Vienne, and the town's student population provides a real pool. For a national campaign that simply uses Limoges as a backdrop, we can also bring in already-tested profiles from Paris.

A creative ads agency designs video ads built for social platforms: tested hooks, native 9:16 formats and data-driven iterations. At Esekai, every creative ad is produced in-house in Paris (script, shoot, edit), then adapted for TikTok Ads and Meta Ads to lower your acquisition costs.

Creative ads are structured advertising for paid media (TikTok Ads, Meta Ads). UGC videos mirror authentic creator content to build trust and convert. Organic content builds your social presence over the long term. The three are complementary.

We work on a six-month minimum. A video content strategy performs best over time: the first six months let us test, refine and optimise for durable, compounding results.
