In Metz, a single day's shoot can take you from the roof designed by Shigeru Ban to the arcades of place Saint-Louis, then to the loading dock of a business park warehouse. According to Insee, the city had 122,572 inhabitants in 2023, and in 2026 Inspire Metz put the Euro-Métropole's catchment area at 1.6 million people within an hour's travel, plus cross-border customers with strong purchasing power. We come from Paris to film TikTok and Meta creative ads, UGC and Reels designed for this Lorraine catchment area.
See our work122,572 inhabitants, 46 surrounding communes
Insee counts 122,572 inhabitants in Metz in 2023. According to Inspire Metz, the area's attractiveness agency, the Euro-Métropole brings together 46 communes, 230,000 inhabitants and 23,000 students in 2026. For a brand, the consequence is straightforward. A Meta campaign limited to the city itself aims too short; you target the catchment area of 46 communes, the people working in Metz's offices, shops and service companies, and the cross-border customers the attractiveness agency highlights. Hooks need to speak to the employee driving home in the evening as much as to the student on the île du Saulcy. As a TikTok agency for Metz, we draw one rule from this: this student audience responds better to a creator of their own age filmed to camera in a place they recognise than to a corporate spot shot somewhere else.
Amazon, Stellantis, IKEA and the 27 business parks
Inspire Metz cites Amazon, CLAAS, IKEA and Stellantis among the companies based in the Euro-Métropole, which offers 27 business parks at the crossroads of the A4 and A31. In the city itself, the business fabric is made up more of offices, shops and service companies, often small ones. Two video needs follow. The large logistics and industrial sites recruit continuously: a series of testimonials from forklift drivers, technicians or team leaders, shot on the loading dock or in the workshop, works as employer branding on TikTok and as a sponsored ad on Meta. Small service businesses mostly need short B2B formats for LinkedIn: the manager explaining an offer in forty seconds, a product demonstration, a launch filmed on their own premises.
Mirabelle plums, chalets and Yozora's starred table
In 2026, Inspire Metz counted 4,340 shops in the Euro-Métropole, from independent boutiques and concept stores to national chains. Local gastronomy is told through the mirabelle plum and AOC Moselle wines, two products that lend themselves well to UGC: a tasting filmed by a creator, a gift box opened to camera, a tart recipe in three shots. Cultural tourism matters too: Centre Pompidou-Metz welcomed 315,148 visitors in 2025, and its press area announces a first Michelin star for Yozora. For a Metz restaurant, the Reel that works shows real service, the kitchen in tight shots and a customer's reaction, rather than a menu filmed flat. Shopkeepers on rue Serpenoise or rue des Clercs can target museum visitors with a TikTok along the lines of “what to do after Pompidou”.
Constellations in summer, chalets and a big wheel at year-end
Metz's calendar often decides the shoot date. In 2025, the Constellations festival held its ninth edition from 19 June to 30 August, with a night-time digital art trail on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and a mapping projected onto Saint-Étienne cathedral; the urban art strand took over the Porte des Allemands and Saint-Pierre-aux-Nonnains. These evenings offer luminous backdrops for night-time Reels, provided you shoot without disturbing the public. At the end of August, the Fêtes de la Mirabelle close the summer. According to the City of Metz, the 2026 Christmas market will run from 20 November to 30 December, with 130 chalets, a big wheel, an 81-metre panoramic tower and the Sentier des Lanternes at square Boufflers. For a year-end campaign, it is better to film in the first few days, before the weekend crowds.
A shoot day between the station and the Moselle
The team arrives from Paris by TGV at Metz-Ville station, in the imperial quarter, with light equipment that can be carried on foot; we do not film with drones. The work starts before departure: brief, scripts, choice of UGC creators, list of locations and permits. Centre Pompidou-Metz states that shoots and photography require the prior agreement of its press department, and we build that lead time into the schedule. On site, a typical day starts at the brand's premises, workshop or shop, for product sequences and team testimonials. At lunchtime, we film a restaurant service. In the afternoon, the UGC shots are filmed in the street, on the Esplanade or along the Moselle, and the end of the day is used for light-filled shots near the Temple Neuf. In the evening, the team takes the train back with several hooks per video, ready to test.
Why creative ads deliver better results
An ad that looks like an ad gets skipped in a second. A creative ad works on the hook, the message and the format so it is watched to the end, then tested and adapted for as long as it converts.
