A 3,500-metre runway where the A380 comes for its tests, a thirteen-storey tower built for NATO generals, a textile factory turned campus: Châteauroux is like no other town in the Berry. The town had 42,963 inhabitants in 2023 according to Insee. Esekai, a Paris social-video studio, makes the trip to shoot UGC videos, TikTok content and Meta ads with Châteauroux's manufacturers, shopkeepers and cultural venues.
See our workBarilla, Pyrex, KSB: a City of Factories
Châteauroux Métropole cites among the companies based in its area Barilla (Harry's), Balsan, International Cookware (Pyrex), KSB, Rioland, GRTgaz and PGA Astronics. These are production sites, with trades that the general public knows little about: line operator, maintenance technician, logistics worker. To recruit in a mid-sized catchment area, a video shot in the workshop, where an employee explains their role in forty seconds, reaches candidates a text ad does not move. Insee counts 23,909 jobs in the town in 2023 and 3,183 active establishments at the end of 2024. The 563 businesses created in 2025 have different needs: a first introductory piece of content, the founder to camera, a few shots of the product in use to feed Instagram and LinkedIn for several months.
An Exceptional Airport at Déols
According to Châteauroux Métropole, Châteauroux-Centre airport has a 3,500-metre runway, presented as the longest in Europe, and specialises in freight and aircraft dismantling. An 8,520 m² hangar was opened there in 2022, able to take an A380 or five A320s at once, occupied by the Luxembourg company Vallair Industry. For a company in the aeronautics sector, these images have immediate force: a fuselage in a hangar, technicians at the foot of an engine. They serve employer branding as much as B2B communication to airlines and aircraft lessors. We adapt the set-up to the constraints of the site, with a light crew, permits prepared in advance and an escort by authorised staff on the airside.
From the American Base to Parc Balsan
From 1951 to 1967, the tourist office recalls, 10,000 Americans lived in Châteauroux-Déols and La Martinerie. What remains is the Building Saint-Cyran, the Brassioux district and a U.S. Museum on place de la Gare: a ready-made narrative thread for a burger restaurant or vintage shop that wants an original Reel. Parc Balsan, owned by the Town since 1988 and redeveloped in 2016, runs along the Indre at the foot of a former 60,000 m² sheet factory that now houses the ecocampus. The Marchés gourmands du Berry take place there on the first three Fridays of July.
Place Voltaire in August, During DARC
Since 1975, the DARC association has organised an international dance course-festival. The 2025 edition took place from 10 to 22 August, with more than 650 trainees, 23 disciplines taught and concerts on place Voltaire; the previous one had drawn more than 65,000 spectators according to the announcement published on JeVeuxAider.gouv.fr. For a sportswear brand, a dance school or a bar in the centre, these two weeks offer images of movement and crowds that work very well on TikTok. The rest of the year, the historic centre, the banks of the Indre and the state forest, of which Châteauroux Métropole gives 5,000 hectares, provide varied backdrops a few minutes from one another. As for accommodation, Insee counts 8 hotels and 311 rooms in the town as at 1 January 2026.
A Shoot Day in Châteauroux
Châteauroux Métropole is 2 hours from Paris, and the station is served by Intercités from Austerlitz: the Esekai team, founded by Tony Lo and based at 40 rue du Colisée, can arrive in the morning and leave in the evening. Before travelling, we write the scripts, list the shots and sort out the permits, particularly for industrial sites and the airport zone. On site, the morning is often for interviews and workshop scenes, the afternoon for product or service shots, then the end of the day for exteriors, Parc Balsan or the banks of the Indre. When the campaign relies on UGC, we recruit creators from the Berry. We have supported more than 350 brands this way: a single shoot, then edited in Paris into several versions to test as ads.
Why creative ads deliver better results
An ad that looks like an ad gets skipped in a second. A creative ad works on the hook, the message and the format so it is watched to the end, then tested and adapted for as long as it converts.
