The Arras lion is due to return to the top of the belfry on 1 April 2027, after twenty months of restoration, and the whole city is preparing a year of commemorations around it. Prefecture of the Pas-de-Calais, Arras counts 42,875 residents (Insee, 2023), but draws far more people during the day. We make the short journey from Paris to produce your TikTok and Meta adverts, your UGC videos and your Reels, from the café terraces of place des Héros to the workshops of the wider urban area.
See our work35,231 jobs for a town of 42,875 residents
The Insee file for the municipality records 35,231 jobs in 2023 for 16,690 employed residents: the employment concentration indicator reaches 211.1. On weekdays, the town offers more than two jobs per resident worker. Public administration, schools, healthcare and social work account for 49.8% of the town's jobs, which makes it first and foremost a town of services and institutions. For a brand, the consequence is twofold. City-centre shops need to capture employees from all over the Arrageois, on their lunch break or after the office, with short videos delivered on mobile within a tight radius. Public and healthcare employers, for their part, are looking for candidates: a nurse talking about her shift, an officer showing their department, filmed without excessive staging, are more convincing than a recruitment poster.
Häagen-Dazs and the food industry at the town's gates
At Tilloy-lès-Mofflaines, a neighbouring municipality of Arras, the Häagen-Dazs plant employs 480 people and produces nearly 80 million litres of ice cream a year, according to Nord France Invest, the regional attractiveness agency. The site was built in the early 1990s. This type of manufacturer has precise video needs: presenting production jobs to candidates, explaining a line or a quality process to professional customers, showing the teams for the employer brand. We then film in line with the site's hygiene rules, with clothing provided and equipment cleaned. In the town itself, Insee counted 3,924 active establishments in 2024 and 641 businesses created in 2025: craftspeople, practices and shops that often need a first presentation video, with a founder to camera and a few shots of their activity enough to start a campaign.
Andouillette, Cœur d'Arras and café terraces on the squares
The tourist office promotes andouillette, beer from local craft brewers, the chocolate rat d'Arras and the gingerbread Cœur d'Arras. Each of these products fits in a three-second close-up, and that is often what hooks viewers on TikTok. A restaurant serving andouillette on the terrace facing the façades of the squares, a bakery turning out its gingerbread hearts, a brasserie filling a glass at the bar: these scenes can be shot in a morning. In 2024, Insee classified 1,075 active establishments, 27.4% of the total, in the trade, transport, accommodation and food services group, and the town's hotel sector had 12 hotels and 639 rooms at the start of 2026. These hotels host history tourists, festivalgoers and business travellers: three audiences, three different videos to plan for a single establishment.
Carrière Wellington, boves and Main Square
On 9 April 1917, nearly 24,000 soldiers emerged from the old chalk quarries to reach the start lines of the Battle of Arras, the tourist office recalls. The Carrière Wellington, some twenty metres underground, still bears the traces, and every 9 April since 2009 a ceremony has been held there at daybreak. The 110th anniversary, in 2027, adds the first Trail des Braves on 4 April and a concert of 400 bagpipers on place des Héros on 15 May. The Main Square Festival returns to the Citadelle on 2, 3 and 4 July 2027. For a hotel, a restaurant or a guide, this calendar counts double: the commemorations pay tribute to British and Commonwealth soldiers, and a video subtitled in English speaks to those visitors too. The boves, beneath the squares, offer low light and vaults that few towns can show.
A day's shoot between the station and the squares
According to the tourist office, Arras TGV station is in the town centre, less than ten minutes' walk from the squares and the belfry, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the free electric shuttle Ma Citadine serves the centre on two lines. So we arrive without a vehicle, with light equipment. Preparation is done remotely: script, location scouting from photos, permits for venues and for café terraces, casting of Pas-de-Calais creators if the campaign calls for it. The day starts early on the squares, before deliveries and before the terraces set up, for the wide shots. Next come the interviews at the company or in the shop, then product and service shots in the afternoon. Sorting the rushes and editing are done in Paris at Esekai, which Tony Lo launched and which has already served more than 350 brands: each sequence comes out as several openings to pit against each other.
Why creative ads deliver better results
An ad that looks like an ad gets skipped in a second. A creative ad works on the hook, the message and the format so it is watched to the end, then tested and adapted for as long as it converts.
