Place Nationale, laid out in 1144 and surrounded by double arcades, makes Montauban a city you can identify in a single shot. Around it lives a growing prefecture: 62,945 inhabitants in 2023 according to Insee, against 45,872 in 1968. Our videographers leave Paris to film UGC, TikTok and Instagram ads there: from brick-built shops in the centre to companies that are hiring, with videos designed for an audience in Tarn-et-Garonne rather than for an abstract viewer.
See our work62,945 Montalbanais and 41,031 jobs
Montauban has passed 62,000 inhabitants: 62,945 in Insee’s 2023 census, or 17,073 more than in 1968. The 15 to 24 age group accounts for 12.5% of residents, up from 11.5% in 2012. Above all, the city has 41,031 jobs while only 25,010 Montalbanais work, hence a ratio of 164.1 jobs per 100 resident workers. Montauban therefore draws in employees from other municipalities every day. Two audiences thus cross paths in the same streets. Residents are won over with local content, shot in streets they know. Workers passing through respond better to what fits into their day: the lunch break, the shopping run after work, the Friday night out. Each receives its own hooks, pitted against each other in the same campaign.
1,092 businesses created in 2025
According to Insee, 1,092 businesses were created in Montauban in 2025, 77.2% of them as sole proprietorships. Leading the way are trade, transport, hotels and restaurants (366 creations), followed by consulting, engineering and business services (233). This profile of young structures, often run by a single person, calls for simple, effective videos: a founder introducing herself to camera, a thirty-second tutorial on a product, a before-and-after for a building tradesperson. As a prefecture, the city also has public employers and services that recruit continuously; for them, a job profile shot at the workplace speaks louder than a written ad. A Meta recruitment campaign filmed in Montauban shows real offices and real teams, which matters to candidates from the département.
Saturday market, chasselas grapes and 802 rooms
On Saturdays, the market sets up along the allées du Consul Dupuy, according to the Occitanie region’s tourism site, with apples, cherries, Moissac AOC chasselas grapes and Quercy melons. That morning suits a Reel for a greengrocer, cheesemonger or restaurant that works with local produce: the stall, the chat with the customer, then the plate served at lunch. Shops in the centre, under the arcades or in the brick streets, lend themselves to discovery UGC, filmed like a stroll. On the tourism side, the city is labelled Ville d’art et d’histoire and Grand Site Occitanie. At the start of 2026, it had 13 hotels with 802 rooms (Insee). To attract these travellers, a venue can run, before they arrive, a sequence filmed from the customer’s point of view, from the station platform to dessert.
Ingres, Bourdelle and the Pont Vieux over the Tarn
Ingres was born in Montauban in 1780, Bourdelle in 1861. The museum that bears their names occupies the former episcopal palace over 2,700 m², and 42 works by Bourdelle are scattered across the city, including La Mort du dernier centaure. The Pont Vieux, whose arches have crossed the Tarn since the Middle Ages, offers the best view of the orange-brick façades; in the evening, the brick takes on a warm tint. Within twenty minutes’ walk, Port Canal opens onto the Canal de Montech, which joins the Canal des Deux Mers over 11 km and 11 locks, with a greenway for cycling or running shots. The highlight of the summer remains Montauban en Scènes: the 11th edition took place from 25 to 28 June 2026 at the Jardin des Plantes, with 24 artists over four days and more than 10,000 tickets sold.
Our typical programme between the station and the Pont Vieux
Montauban is served by the A62 and A20 motorways and lies on the railway line linking Paris and Toulouse: we arrive by train, the equipment fits in a few suitcases and everything else is done on foot. Before leaving, the script, remote location scouting and the town hall paperwork for filming on the public highway are wrapped up; if the campaign calls for it, we select creators from Tarn-et-Garonne or the Toulouse area. The shoot day often starts at the market, continues under the arcades of Place Nationale with the shopkeepers, spends the afternoon at the client company for interviews, then ends on the Pont Vieux at sunset. Tony Lo’s studio, which has worked for more than 350 brands, then assembles the different variants of each film in Paris.
Why creative ads deliver better results
An ad that looks like an ad gets skipped in a second. A creative ad works on the hook, the message and the format so it is watched to the end, then tested and adapted for as long as it converts.
