Issy-les-Moulineaux is one of the few cities in France with more jobs than residents: 70,719 jobs for 67,669 residents in 2023, according to Insee. A video shot here therefore speaks as much to the employees who arrive every morning by tram or metro as to the families who live here. From our offices on rue du Colisée, line 12 drops us at its terminus, Mairie d'Issy, equipment included. We film social ads, UGC testimonials and TikTok formats there for headquarters and neighbourhood shops alike.

Insee's figures for 2023 paint a very tightly packed town: 15,922.1 residents per km², 32,334 households and an activity rate for 15 to 64-year-olds of 82.5%. Employees dominate, with 92.3% of jobs held by salaried staff. For a brand, this density has a direct consequence for distribution: a radius of a few kilometres around the pont d'Issy covers tens of thousands of working people, many of whom don't sleep on site. A fast-food chain, a gym or a childcare service shouldn't speak to them as it would to neighbours. For them we write hooks tied to the office rhythm (lunch break, leaving at 6pm, Friday remote working) and we keep a second, more family-oriented series for the Isséens who do their shopping on Saturday.
EOS, Sequana and the headquarters of the Seine Ouest district
The welcome guide published by the town in 2019 lists among the companies based in Issy Capgemini, Cisco, The Coca-Cola Company, Colas, Eurosport, Johnson & Johnson, Marie Claire, Microsoft, Nestlé, Orange, Sodexo and Yves Rocher. The same document describes the Seine Ouest district, on the edge of Paris, with the Sequana tower and the three EOS buildings, Microsoft's headquarters, fanned out facing the river. These groups already produce a lot of content, often in-house. Where an outside team adds something is in the formats that communications departments don't have time to shoot: an employer-brand series with real employees filmed at their desks, a two-minute onboarding video, B2B customer testimonials for LinkedIn, or a TikTok creative ad that presents a consumer service without the tone of a corporate film.
Neighbourhood shops and employees at lunchtime
Insee records 2,589 employer establishments in the town at the end of 2024, of which 83.4% are in trade, transport and services, and 65.8% have between 1 and 9 employees. Behind the headquarters, then, there are mostly small businesses: lunchtime restaurants, bakeries, opticians, agencies, salons. Their typical customer leaves an open-plan office at 12.30pm with forty minutes ahead of them. That is exactly the scenario of a successful restaurant Reel: the queue moving fast, the dish arriving and the walk from the tram stop. For a food business, we also shoot UGC in which a local employee presents their lunch to camera. The short TikTok format, in a single take, suits brands that want to fill Tuesday's tables rather than the weekend's.
From the Fort numérique to the banks of the Seine
Up on the heights, the former military fort built between 1841 and 1845 has become, according to the town, a 12-hectare district with 1,623 homes, public facilities and a swimming pool. Its new paths, contemporary architecture and view of Paris give very readable wide shots for a developer, a home equipment brand or a housing-related service. Down below, the eco-district on the banks of the Seine lines up offices, homes and cycle paths: a useful setting for brands in soft mobility, cycling or scooters. The île Saint-Germain and its park offer greenery a stone's throw from the towers, handy for an outdoor shoot that mustn't look like an office car park. The headquarters themselves are best filmed on weekdays, when the open-plan offices are full and employees are happy to play along.
Preparing a shoot in an office building in Issy
The first obstacle is not distance, which is minimal from the 8th arrondissement, but access to the buildings. In an office tower, you often have to register the crew with the security department, arrange badges and book a goods lift for the lighting. We send the list of equipment and people a week in advance. On the content side, we prepare the script with your communications team, scout the rooms and common areas from photos, then organise the casting: volunteer employees or Île-de-France UGC creators depending on the tone sought. On the day, we start with interviews in a quiet room, move on to working shots in the open-plan office before noon, then go outside in the afternoon, on the Seine side or at the Fort. For an Issy headquarters, we generally deliver a long film for the careers page and a series of fifteen-second cuts, each with its own hook.
Why creative ads deliver better results
An ad that looks like an ad gets skipped in a second. A creative ad works on the hook, the message and the format so it is watched to the end, then tested and adapted for as long as it converts.
