Hyper
Hyper, proving a coach that adapts in real time
The challenge: what Hyper set out to achieve
Hyper is a French app that builds tailor-made strength training sessions and adjusts them in real time: machine taken, pain, only thirty minutes.
The fitness app market is saturated with identical promises. Saying “personalised” no longer means anything to anyone.
So we had to stop claiming the difference and start demonstrating it, in the setting where it plays out: the gym.
The usual videos in this sector show sculpted bodies and perfect workouts. They speak to people who already train regularly, far less to those who give up after three weeks because their programme does not fit their reality.
The creative challenge was therefore twofold: show a product that lives on a phone screen, and show it in a noisy, crowded gym with all its unpredictability.
What we put in place
UGC series shot in the gym with real athletes, not actors.
Each video stages a setback every gym-goer has experienced, the press is taken, the shoulder is pulling, only half an hour left, and films the app's response in real time.
The hooks focus on progress and consistency, the two most common reasons people quit.
Fast-paced editing using TikTok codes, burned-in subtitles, several hook variants per video for ad testing.
Filming took place in real conditions, in the gym and in vertical 9:16. The app screen appears at the moment the workout adapts, so viewers see the feature in action rather than a description.
Each hook lasts two seconds and describes a concrete problem, such as a machine that is already taken. The rest of the video shows the workout reorganising itself, then the gym-goer carrying on.
The videos we produced
Click to turn on the soundWhat it delivered
A series of content that shows real use instead of describing the feature.
Creatives reusable for app store acquisition and paid social alike.
A repeatable creative framework for the next rounds of filming.
The video shown on this page is one of the variations in the series. It serves as a template for the next ones: same structure, new setbacks, new profiles.
The figures shown at the top of the page (workouts completed, app store rating, messages exchanged with the coach) are usage figures for the Hyper app. They serve as proof in the videos; they are not campaign results.
