Suzzy
Suzzy, making booking software desirable
The challenge: what Suzzy set out to achieve
Suzzy publishes restaurant booking software at €89 per month with no commission on covers, competing with platforms that take a cut of every booking.
The product is good and the promise is clear, but the audience is as tough as it gets: independent restaurant owners who are constantly pitched and allergic to software vendor jargon.
You cannot film software. Nor a booking schedule. So the challenge was to make an invisible gain visible: the covers you no longer lose.
Restaurant owners decide fast, often between two services, and they have already seen dozens of software demos that all look alike: a screenshot, a voiceover, a promise of saving time. We had to break away from that style without losing the clarity of the message.
What we put in place
We filmed the software where it matters: in the middle of service.
Each video starts from a real situation in the dining room, the phone ringing during the rush, the booked table left empty, the commission taken on a booking you already had, then shows the product's answer on screen.
The hooks use figures restaurant owners understand instantly: 0 % commission, −90 % no-shows, a single schedule for every channel.
The videos were then adapted into short formats for paid social and longer versions to feed the demo page.
Filming took place in real restaurants, during real busy periods, in vertical 9:16. The ringing phone, the full dining room and the scribbled booking book are filmed as they are, then the software screen takes over.
The first two seconds always set up the restaurant owner's situation, never the product name. The logo comes later, once the viewer has already recognised themselves in the scene.
Every video is subtitled, because part of the audience watches with the sound off, and the on-screen text repeats the brand's three figures word for word so the message lands even at a glance.
The videos we produced
Click to turn on the soundWhat it delivered
A library of creative ads reusable on TikTok, Meta and the demo funnel.
A unified product message: the same three figures carried by every video.
Content that also supports sales prospecting, sent directly to the restaurant owners being approached.
Three vertical videos can be viewed on this page. They form the basis of the ad test: same argument, different hooks, to see which of the three figures triggers the most demo requests.
The figures shown at the top of the page (restaurants equipped, 0 % commission, fewer no-shows) describe the Suzzy product. They are the arguments the videos carry, not campaign results.
