eFlexFuel
eFlexFuel, creative ads that sent orders for the E85 box soaring
The challenge: what eFlexFuel set out to achieve
eFlexFuel designs, in Finland, a box that lets a petrol car run on Superethanol E85. A sensor measures the ethanol content in real time and the injection adapts, without reprogramming the engine control unit. In France, the road-approved version is called eFlexBlue.
The product answers a very concrete concern, the price of a full tank, but it remains technical: a box, an approval, a fitting at a garage. It had to be made easy to understand in a few seconds, and make people want to order.
Car ads often talk about engines and spec sheets. To reach drivers on TikTok and Instagram, we had to start from their everyday life: the petrol station, the bills, the fuel budget.
What we put in place
We wrote and shot five vertical creative ads, each in a different format.
A fake news flash in front of a petrol station's price board, a back-to-school story about the bills, a vox pop with real passers-by on the price of a full tank, a three-step tutorial on how to order, and a humorous investigation into the “culprit” behind the fuel budget.
They all show the eFlexBlue box on screen and repeat the same arguments: made in Finland, approved, fitted in one to two hours at an approved garage, payable in instalments. They point to eflexfuelfrance.com.
The videos we produced

According to eFlexFuel, the videos brought in many additional orders.
The marketing team, led by marketing director Oumaima Brouk, particularly liked the videos. A video interview is in the works.
Five different formats to test several ways into the same product: the news, the budget, the social proof of the vox pop and the buying tutorial.
